We came here on a weekday evening and had a great meal. The food was served quickly and was very fresh. Lots of choice and was good quality. It was very quiet in the restaurant, but we expected this mid week. All in all, it was a very good all you can eat, and we will definitely be coming back.

Best British Chinese food I have ever eaten, and the buffet is very reasonably priced too! Spent £80 for all we could eat buffet as a group of 4, and the entire table was covered in different dishes. Food was served very quickly and was piping hot, so perfect. Every single dish that we ordered was as good as expected, honestly exceeded my hopes. Nothing that I would discourage anyone from ordering, except the bbq ribs were slightly dry as some other reviews have said, but it's not like you only order those so you can easily dip them in other sauces so not really a complaint. Service was good, seen to immediately and was very efficient. Dishes that I would recommend specifically from the buffet menu include the chicken curry, any sweet and sour dish and the beef and black bean sauce (could list for ages it was so good). Chicken wings from the starter section were probably the most lacking, but everything else was so amazing that I honestly wouldn't even think about this.

3 of us went last night 12/07/25. Our 1st time. I am highly critical. So I would definitely recommend golden city. Food was lovely, fresh, hot & generous. You sit & they serve opp to buffets. The price is v good. £20 all u can eat. £22 if you choose duck & prawn dishes. The service was on point. I will definitely be returning.

First time ordering tonight and it was faultless. Food piping hot. The quality is fab, value for money and portion sizes I don't think will be beaten in Bury anywhere else. All the dishes were delicious. Turned up in half an hour too! Will definitely use again and recommend.

We just had this takeaway and it was as delicious as ever, the children love it too. No left overs and everyone is full. Phoned in the order and it was ready within the time they gave us. Relaxed friendly atmosphere inside too.
